You can do this in a journal, voice note, quiet walk, or even in the notes app on your phone. The point isn’t perfection, it’s presence.
1. What’s taking up the most space in my mind right now?
Start with honesty. Is it a conversation that left you spinning? A decision you keep avoiding? A loop of “what ifs”?This question helps name the weight. And sometimes, naming it is what softens its grip.
Coaching tip: You don’t have to solve it right away. Just acknowledge it.
2. What do I actually need this week—emotionally, physically, or energetically?
Not what’s on your to-do list.
Not what everyone else needs from you. You.
Is it more rest? More structure? More connection? A good cry? A screen break? A long walk alone?
Coaching tip: Let yourself need what you need without judging it.
3. What’s one small thing I can choose on purpose?
This is your anchor. Not to fix everything, but to remind yourself you’re not powerless. It might be drinking water before coffee. Texting a friend. Saying no. Going to bed early. Taking the long way home. Breathing before you react.
Coaching tip: Small, intentional acts create momentum. One tiny shift can lead to a completely different week.
This Isn’t About Control, It’s About Connection
You don’t need to micromanage your entire week. You just need a thread to hold onto...something that keeps you tethered to yourself when things get loud, busy, or heavy.
